Hand-drawn batik is considered as Indonesian fine art, rooted from traditional culture of-especially-Javanese Kingdoms. In its development batik is produced by common people as well. Home workers in Central Java also produce the exquisite fabric, as shown here. These are the products of an artisan in the region of Sragen.
